Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools Reviews
My name is Thomas and I am an alumni of Prior Lake High School. I loved every single year of attending that school because it did a good job of making you feel included from happy/helpful staff members to a wide range of clubs and activities. I myself, involved in many activities including Tennis, Robotics, National Business Honor Society, and participated in running the school store. I met many people who I am proud to call friends in those activities that I participated in. The school was primarily Caucasians with a hint of other races, and that showed not much diversity. The teachers were so helpful and always there when you needed them and the food was amazing! The classes at the High School prepared everyone for college through a great workload. Prior Lake is statistically very good in terms of academics and I standby and support that because its true. Overall, I highly recommend Prior Lake because it's one of the better high schools in MN.
Facilities, teachers, safety, academics and sports, technology, it has it all. Moved to the area because of what the schools have to offer, best decision we made! And the food menu at the cafeteria and the laker cafe, best we’ve seen compared to other districts.
I was really pleased with the classes and experiences I had. Starting my senior year I was very impressed with the connection that my teachers seemed to establish with me and creating many meaningful relationships with them, which is something that was lacking within my other years of school. Their rigorous AP courses challenged me and made me into a very successful student and I overall feel very prepared for college. I only wish I could have had the sense of connections within the staff earlier on.
