Prairiland Independent School District Reviews
Prairiland is a small country school. I really enjoy going here because everyone knows everyone. You also have the chance to participate in everything they offer. Sports, FFA, FCCLA, Beta, UIL events and more. They also have all the modern conviences. We have been using chrome books the past two years. Because we were small, we were the pilot school in our area for chrome books. I have enjoyed by 12 years at Prairiland.
Prairiland, like all schools, has good qualities as well as bad. The majority of the staff is fair and always willing to help students whenever possible. The extracurricular programs are quite successful, especially the FFA organization. One drawback is the lack of diversity in the student body. The campus is not very very large but is constantly adding new things for students to pursue in their scholastic careers at the school.
Prairiland is a very close-knit community. They are not very progressive and often discriminatory, but any friends made, often stick. Everyone knows everyone, and most teachers taught or know their student's parents. The teachers are very supportive of their students and encourage them to make good decisions and make themselves available for help and questions.
