Overall, Prairie Grove High School seems to be one of the best. We have a variety of sports including anything from the normal football and basketball, to things like tennis and soccer. We have a new basketball gym as well that really adds to the sports experience. Our academics system is great, having a multitude of Advanced Placement (AP) classes that are able to help us prepare for college (and save money if we pass!). The food is good when you consider it to be school food. No cliche "school slop" here! With an arising stigma of violence in this culture, safety is one of the most important and key aspects of having a good high school. Our school is great about taking safety precautions and having certain drills for specific events. Our club variety is superb, varying from different clubs about politics, hobbies, and religion. Considering both sides, the highs outweigh the lows one to a million when it comes to the true quality of Prairie Grove High School.

I absolutely loved my experience at Prairie Grove High school. This is truly the best community to be around because they support the school so much in anything it does. When the school really needed new facilities the community was very quick to act and immediately voted to raise city taxes to provide funding. That's just one example of why this school is so great. There are so much more! Teachers, education, and the people are what makes this school so awesome.
Small town school in a community that is growing quickly. The school is not prepared properly for the growth and the kids will suffer. The elementary school is over crowded and safety is a joke. Anyone who wants to “help” at the school is let in to do whatever, whenever. They barely make you sign in. With a school that is overcrowded, that is scary. Bullying is not dealt with properly. If your child is being teased or harassed they are told not to tattle and made to feel like it’s their fault. If you have lived here your whole life and know which teachers to pick for your child it may be okay, but for 80 percent us who didn’t good luck getting anywhere with anybody for anything.
