Prairie Central Community Unit School District No. 8 Reviews
It was a great school and I enjoyed my time there. There were some points in my high school years where I felt like the teachers weren't as qualified as they could be. But other than those select few teachers, the experience and culture throughout the school is felt. Many students take pride in the fact that they go to Prairie Central, and I for one am part of the group of people.
The faculty and staff were overall very kind and understanding. I would like to see the school acquire more funding so they can purchase more materials relate d to education. For example, their Geometry books are from 2006.
The academics are okay, but they are nothing to brag about. The sports teams are very bad, and they hardly ever make it to state. Their FFA chapter is nationally recognized and wins national championships and is very good. Overall, the school needs many improvements, but if you're looking for a good ag high school, this is the one.
