It was a great school with friendly staff that did everything and more to send me off for success. I couldn't have asked for kinder classmates, more helpful teachers, and more impactful and inspiring role models.
It wasn’t the best high school but it’s a pretty good place where you can find pretty good people and teachers willing to help you out in school. In my total time in Powhatan I’ve only had two teachers who haven’t attempted to help out students in need. There’s a lot of clubs and after school activities to do so there’s probably a club or after school club for everyone and if there isn’t you can always start one with enough people behind it. That’s what I love about this high school.
I loved my time at Powhatan. The bullying prevention program, however, needs work. The teachers were amazing, many of whom I still talk to even today!
