Pottsgrove School District Reviews
Pottsgrove has a very good staff. From administration to the custodians, everyone is so nice. At Pottsgrove, the staff cares about what the students have to say. Our principals have student forums where they listen to what students have to say and they always take everything into consideration. I am very thankful to my teachers that I have had throughout the years and I am so glad that I have spent the last four years at Pottsgrove!
Pottsgrove offers the best of both worlds. It is outside a smaller city so it has a diverse population. Students are exposed to many ethnic back grounds. They have advanced classes which challenge students. Both children are Pottsgrove grads w/in the past 7 years and both have advanced degrees and are making competitive salaries. Pottsgrove adds programs as necessary... things like full day kindergarten. If you can affect children when they are younger, it will be a better experience for them. They have music programs such as chorus and band for those interested. They offer competitive athletics as well. Their Football and Track/Field teams are often championship caliber. The campuses are all relatively safe too. This all comes at a cost as tax bills are on the high side. Being in western Montgomery County the trade off to having a nice mix of rural in with the city types are that there are less businesses within the district to offset some of the residential tax burden.
Pottsgrove High school is a very diverse school and all of our teachers want the better good for all of us. I feel safe going to school everyday and the administration is always about parent involvement. We have over a hundred clubs and if we don’t have one that you like, our principal influences you to make up your own group and/or club. I loved my overall experience at Pottsgrove High school and i think majority of the rest of the studies can say that too!
