Portland School District Reviews
The teachers are fairly nice. You can find your classes easily. The school is small. There aren't a lot diversity here though. Teachers can help out with your work if you asked them. The academics are fairly decent too. Wish there was more courses related to nursing and other fields though, they mostly have STEM courses.
I find that our High School does not readily prepare us for going off to college. We have very limited class variety. We are not allowed on school grounds at all during the day. We have a small courtyard that would be lovely to sit out in during lunch but we are not allowed. We are monitored and micromanaged. More freedom and choices in activities and academics would make the high school experience more enjoyable.
The Portland School District is very in touch with everyone and is very one on one with the students and they care about the kids and their education. They always offer extra help to students who need it and to those who just want extra practice.
