The Polo R-VII School District is home to many supportive and creative teachers and students, however, it definitely has room for improvement. Curriculum outside of paid (Dual Credit/AP) classes can be limited, but I do believe they have been trying to fix this as the student base has grown. Every year, the school introduces new improvements and equipment, despite its rural location, and tries to accommodate new and returning students. That said, there are a few policy issues that need to be revised within the school and at times it can feel understaffed.

Overall, as a public school, it does its job well enough to help any student committed to going to college or trade school after high school to do so.

I really love the small class sizes and the amount of one on one time you get with the teachers. The staff are all friendly and eager to help!
As a parent of a High School student I find little challenge in the school work...An A student who does very little work...The school DOES NOT prepare students in any way to be ready for life after High School..The students are close but only in their respective groups....Little opportunity for those students looking for new and exciting classes to challenge the mind..
