I am a senior at Poland Seminary High School this year, and I have been in the Poland Local School District for 12 years. I believe that our school does carry a tradition of excellence in our students because of our fantastic teachers. Although, I would like to see more AP class opportunities and more college preparation for underclassmen. I also do believe our school could improve on its diversity and inclusion of others. Our school is lacking in people with diverse backgrounds and students with a wide perspective of the world, and I do believe that this is something that can be changed.

This is my senior year being a part of the Poland Local School District. The schools are overall pretty good. I moved to Ohio and joined the Poland public schools in econd grade. I was immediately taken in and welcomed. In Poland, you can really tell that the teachers care and put all of their energy into it. I am also happy to say that the course availabilty has increasingly expanded throughout my highschool career. From AP classes, to college credit plus, to new technology and multimedia classes, there is definately a lot more available to students in highschool than there used to be. The Poland Local School District is also pretty small. This means a lot more smaller classes and more one-on-one and personal time in classes. However, this also means a lot less diversity and less wide-spread oppurtunities for students.
Overall, I think Poland Highschool is a great school. Going there has prepared me quite well for a strong academic start to college next fall. I think the teachers are very helpful and caring. I'd like more classes that deal with real life such as finances and saving for retirement.
