Point Pleasant Beach School District Reviews
I really have loved my experience at Point Pleasant Beach High School. The staff and faculty are truly focused on the betterment of the students in preparation for the future. The small school environment allows much focus on the students as individuals while fostering a "team" environment intertwined with community. I could not be more proud of how I have grown into the person that I am, looking back on my freshman year.
Point Pleasant Beach High School for me was a great school. Kind students, kind and invested teachers, sanitary place. Although, the school lacks much diversity there have been no incidences in which there have been any racial problems. The school is small with a small amount of students which allows everyone to know each other. Small classrooms allow for a smaller student to teacher ratio allowing for more personal attention in most classes. Sports life is highly viewed by many, and a large amount of students participate in sports. However, since the school isn't large, there isn't a large option of classes and diverse material to choose from, nonetheless, it still gives many important and for many sufficient enough classes.
I am an alumni of Point Pleasant Beach High School, and my child attends as a senior now. It has been an awesome experience for her, and she is happy with her decision to have attended here for the past four years. The small class sizes allowed for close teacher - student - parent relationships, which have helped create strong bonds and open communication. The small size also allows students to be part of many clubs, music programs, and sports teams. Point Pleasant Beach High School had prepared my daughter well for her next step, college. It is inclusive and offers a variety of classes for students to choose from.
