Pocono Mountain School District Reviews

I experienced a wide variety of teachers from some who genuinely cared about their jobs and students, some who had no idea what they were doing, and some who clearly did not want to be there. I do not feel like students were pushed enough to be successful after graduation. The education I received there was extremely average. Since I've left, I've heard the school has gone through some unfavorable changes and is not the school it was when I left.

My experience is very good with the school. I would like to see more college readiness programs. I would also like to see more interaction with the guidance counselor. Senior year is very important and we will be embarking on a new journey and we should have more informative information about what is about to happen going forward. We should be SAT and ACT ready by senior year. This should happen in sophomore year so by the time we become seniors we are just reviewing and not learning. Overall the experience with the school district is a good one.
Pocono Mountain is where I have developed my academic skills, communication skills, leadership skills, and hard work ethic. The district is filled with clubs and activities that any child can find interest in. Diveristy (Pocono Mountain West) is what makes were this district apart from others, for it is the reason for its rich, developing culture that can not be found anywhere else in the region.
