I live in a small community so that says a lot about size and the culture of Plumas Unified School District. For living in a small community, the district tries to fulfill all needs of the surrounding schools! I can say, it takes time to get the funding for certain needs and projects but they accomplish their goals. There is no other area I would want to live in. Therefore, I am saying I
have had a great experience with Plumas Unified School District!

Plumas Unified School District is great about exposing students to different science experiences out in the beautiful wilderness that surrounds us. The district can improve by actively communicating and hiring qualified employees. They can try to build better relationships between parents and district officials. They can also not hire their own family.
There is both good and bad about plumas school district. Classes are small and intimate so each student gets the opportunity to have individual attention, but the opportunities for students to go above and beyond are very limited. Its school and sports, and not much more.
