There is both good and bad about plumas school district. Classes are small and intimate so each student gets the opportunity to have individual attention, but the opportunities for students to go above and beyond are very limited. Its school and sports, and not much more.

I like the welcome and open feel of QHS. I know I enjoy friendships with classmates as well as teachers and other faculty. We have a variety of sports that all students are admitted to as long as their attitudes and grades meet the requirements. AP classes are offered as well as a duel enrollment opportunity in connection with the local community college. Staff are very energetic and friendly. School spirit -both students and teachers alike- is energizing.
It has been an interesting time here. The teachers and staff are amazing and friendly at least here at Quincy high. The classes really help you to be prepared for college and whatever secondary education you might seek after high school.
