Pleasantville Community School District Reviews
I transferred to Pleasantville High School as a high school junior, and overall had a great high school experience following my transfer. Pleasantville provided me with the opportunities I needed to flourish as an individual and as a student, and I am positive that attending Pleasantville High School enhanced my experiences throughout my junior and senior year. I was given opportunities to become involved with clubs and organizations that I never would have otherwise been able to, and through these types of involvement, experienced an exceptional amount of personal growth. I will always be proud to be a PHS alum and will support this town, that I now proudly consider my hometown, throughout my adult life.
As a senior at Pleasantville High School, I enjoy the bond between the teachers and students. If you need help they are always there to help, if they can't help they'll help you get the help you do need. They want to see you succeed and will help you do so if they can. Our school district is very welcoming. We try our best to welcome every new student, teacher, or staff member and make them feel as comfortable as they can to adjust to a new school.
I have been given the opportunity to try and do as much as I want at Pleasantville. I have been able to accelerate my academics by taking HS classes as a middle schooler. This allowed me to take college classes starting as a freshman. I have been involved in many clubs and been able to expand my leadership skills because of this. I have also been involved in athletics and excelled in football and wrestling. The school has been very supportive as I worked toward my accomplishments, as well as the local community.
