Pleasant Local School District Reviews

I have attended Pleasant Local School District my entire schooling career. I have grown up in the Pleasant Community and I will forever cherish being a Spartan. The Pleasant School District is very supportive in athletics, and pushes the students to excel in the classroom. The academic expectations have always been high and the students are expected to meet the requirements given to them. Pleasant prepares it's students for college academically very well. Pleasant provides it's high school students with the option to take college classes at the high school and at the local college. Pleasant has always been very strong in athletics and has made many state appearances, and those are the best times to be a Spartan. The community rallies together always and gives full support to any team. The only thing that I would like to see change are the facilities and buildings. Our middle school is over 100 years old and needs multiple renovations. Each building needs to be updated.

At Pleasant, I really like the administration and their care and concern for the students. I also like the idea of how the combination of sports and academics are strongly encouraged.
I've gone to Pleasant since kindergarten and I have watched a decent school turn into a petty filled high school. Where if a kid does not get their way they bring their parents in. Also if you don't have the right last name or have money, the school itself looks down on you. After I graduate I wish my school will fix their attitude about students.
