Plain Local is a very diverse, and inclusive school district. It has many opportunities for students to achieve multiple academic goals, including chances for college credit, and career tech. The district ensures upperclassmen are given the chance to take career tech pathways and upper-level programs such as IB, CCP, and AP classes. These classes are geared toward motivated students who want to learn and take control of their learning. This style of learning really sets up a similar environment to what college life is like.
Glenoak is a D1 high school, and the competition in our area is very elite. This allows for the athletes in our district to push themselves, and it also draws elite coaches to the district so we can have the best possible athletic experiences possible. The district also makes sure that students have plenty of clubs and activities available so we can be involved with the schools and districts. And not just sit around at home all day.

I love that our school district is so diverse. I also love that we focus on being a community and support each other in good times and during adversity. I love that we offer the best education in the county and our test scores show it! I love that our school district offers the most opportunities for trade as well as for higher education!
This school is still relatively new so the class rooms, restrooms and overall facility is in great condition. The building is air conditioned so no having to sweat it out at the beginning of the year.
