Pittsburg School District Reviews

I am the valedictorian of the senior class at Pittsburg School, and overall Pittsburg is a very warm and friendly place. We are a family there but the education and the overall atmosphere is not the greatest. We welcome you here, but they teachers are very pushy since they know us all too well. We are a K-12 school with only about 100 kids. Every knows each other too much and it tends to create stress where it isn't needed. The clubs try hard to make them the best possible, but without the right amount of resources, it's difficult. I've had the greatest and worst times of my life in Pittsburg. I wouldn't change the people I grew up with and learned to love. I would change the education level and the diversity.

I would like to see more challenging classes. Teachers that had higher degrees and more training. Accountability for the curriculum and did not rely on the internet to teach the students.
