I have mixed feelings about my education through the Pitman school district. Though elementary and middle school felt hands on and academically challenging, I felt that the high school experience of this particular district was lacking. I took mostly honors courses through out my high school years but they felt similar to ones that were on a more standard level. The environment was friendly, and my teachers had the best intent on teaching the curriculum, but I can't help but feel that I could have been pushed a little harder.
Not very diverse. Food is at worst mediocre and at best alright. Lots of good teachers and some bad ones.
Pitman is a small school with many opportunities for involvement for all students. They also have a variation of courses and class levels to hold the attention of many types of learners. However, it lacks the technology which makes certain projects and assignments difficult to finish in class. This also makes it harder for technology to be incorporated in class.
