Piscataway Township School District Reviews
The Piscataway district overall is a great area to live in. In the Piscataway High school, there was a lot of diversity and inclusion shown. People from all different backgrounds were able to aim for different things they desired; whether it was from trying to run for the President of the Key Club, or becoming the head chair in the Orchestra. We all had an equal chance. The teachers and administrators at Piscataway tried to make us feel as safe and comfortable as possible in school. From having security guards making sure each student was doing the right thing, and for them to monitor who was coming in and out of the buildings. Additionally, we had different people we could speak to about our academics or any personal problems we had. Each of the teachers and counselors had an open door to help us with whatever we were going through. Letting us know that we are not alone in this process. Piscataway really wants to see their students become successful, which I loved about the school!
What I liked most about Piscataway Township School District is the fact that they like to include all their students and make sure they all feel special. When covid-19 happened, my graduation and prom was canceled, but the school system did as much as they could to help the class of 2020 and I to have a normal graduation. I am forever grateful for the support my school system has given me!
Piscataway Township is a fairly decent district. As a student of this district for my entire academic career, I find it’s diversity, academics, and sports exceptional. I do wish that there was a more diverse range of clubs and extracurriculars, considering that Rutgers is located nearby. I especially like their efforts to guide future health professionals, engineers, lawyers, and artists through the PHS academy program. They also have a variety of activities for younger individuals who aspire to find their passion. While this district is not perfect, their efforts to improve are highly respectable, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
