Overall, Pine Tree provides a safe and caring environment, but sometimes oversteps boundaries and exploits control. The curriculums felt average and did not provide complete preparedness for university.

Pine Tree, like most other schools, focuses and funnels funds into the sports programs and does not support the academic programs enough. They are a title I school meaning they are poor and receive a bunch of money from the government. Due to this they create rules that are unfair for students which in turn causes animosity between student and staff.
The teachers are wonderful but over worked and underpaid which hinders their capability to properly teach. The administration gives full funding to their losing football team but cuts funding for their awardwinning band and theater division. The high school campus is surrounded by a one way locking fence that increases you time to get to classes, better run if you have to get to the other side. Most graduates can't pass college classes.
