Pinebush Highschool like many other schools has its faults but as you know nothing’s perfect. One thing about this school is the staff is great! They build wonderful bond with the kids that they have and help them out with personal problems as well as any problems they have with school. Whether it be from the security guards to the teachers or the guidance counselors they’re always involved in the well being of the student body.
I had some fantastic teachers at Pine Bush High School. A lot of them cared deeply about their students and their success. The district had a lot of events and sports games, and had an awesome musical theater program. On the other hand, the issues of anti-semitism and racism were very unpleasant. There were often fights at my school, and the building itself needed to be updated.
I spent all of my school years in the same district. Though every school has its ups and downs, Pine Bush Central School District was not the worst. Many sports programs were unfunded between the years of middle school and high school. Arts programs were also starting to become unfunded during my last few years of high school. I am a firm believer that education and the quality of it is important. But, I also believe that extra curricular activities should continue to be funded for the sanity of students. No student wants to go to school for seven hours a day and not have something to escape from and continue to keep their minds and bodies moving. Sports and arts are what inspire most students to continue their education and it would be a shame to see that drive decline through students as time passes.
