I have really enjoyed PHS. I have had many great expierences at this school. I would not have wanted to attended any other high school. The teachers and staff members have been very encouraging, motivational and caring. They always want what's best for you and try to help you succeed. We have had many different principals thru-out my highschool expierence but the one I had my first semester senior year made a big impact on my life. He cheered us on and made us feel important at school. Overall my whole highschool expierence has been pretty great! The people at PHS have helped me grow and become the person that I am today! I would not have been able to do any of it without all the help and encouragement from the teachers and consulers at school.

This school opens up many opportunities for you & it is amazing! The teacher’s support for you is endless and they are always there for you when you need help. The education you receive at this school will push you forward into an amazing future.
I was a student of the Pickens County School System from kindergarten to senior year. I grew up in this school system, and I honestly did not have the best experience with these schools. The teachers, with the exception of a few, were really bad and had no actual teaching skill. The facilities were bad, and the food was horrible. The college prep was almost nonexistent and the counseling department was not helpful at all. I had an alright overall experience with these schools, but it definitely was not the best.
