I liked the diversity in Phoenix union, there's every culture and religion and everyone is treated with respect. The athletic programs are promising with many students pursuing a higher colligete level for there sports. Always interactive clubs and activities such as student government, black student union, be a leader, FBLA, etc, play a tremendously big role in a students high school career. Phoenix union is a great school district!

I'm currently a junior attending Metro Tech high school and throughout my three years, my high school experience has been unforgettable. The district, overall, has many activities students can get involved in, during school and after school. The schools encourage students to put their best into the academic side of school while letting their spiritual, outgoing side thrill. The staffs and teachers are engaged with the students in the journey of college readiness. The schools are very supportive and have resources available to help us out through the tough times during school. What I would change is having more events where families could also get involved in; parents should have a chance to learn about the school, meet teachers, and know that their children are entering a safe, great learning environment everyday.
Phoenix Union High School District has helped me greatly in determining what I want to accomplish in life. I have grown a tremendous amount while attending this district: I am now extremely responsible, understanding, respectful and compassionate. The teachers and counselors within the district, especially at my high school, have taught me great life lessons and now I feel as if I am prepared for anything! If I could better anything at all, it would be to allow students more one on one time with their counselor during school hours.
