I very much like that everybody is involved with education. Teachers, counselors, and principals they all care very much about helping students and parents. Teachers are always available to help during normal hours and after hours. The district came up with a great plan to protect students from covid19. It was a very fair system for students and parents. The plan was very good and a very successful plan for all student's safety. What I mostly like is that the district is pretty much up to date with technology. Great computers and wi-fi for those that need it. The district has the best dual course system in cooperation with south texas college. The district pays for all tuition and fees for its students to take all needed curriculum for an associate degree. The best counselors and principals working very hard to make sure we all graduate with a college degree. I was lucky to belong to the PSJA ISD for all of the above reasons and I recommend this district. My family for PSJA ISD.
Due to a low fund district, it is not at its full potential. The facilities are not as grand as other schools, but the teachers are understanding.
I liked my school experience I learned many things over the past years and would not change a thing.
I have been part of this district for almost all my education and I can say that psja is a good district that gives a lot of opportunities to students.
I liked the size of the school, and that is was walking distance from my house. Classes are great but fights are normal.
I believe there are positives and negatives to every school district. This school district offers so much to their students and not many school districts do this so that is incredible. Sadly, since so much is offered to the students, some don't take advantage of these opportunities and take the for granted. Overall, this school district is amazing and I hope it keeps striving for the best it can be.
I have been in this school district since Pre-K. I could talk all day about how good the schools, staff, and safety are. Everyone working in the district cares so much about the students and their ability to learn. They go above and beyond to ensure that everyone gets the education they require. There are so many opportunities at our reach through the district. From technology to scholarships, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo provides their students with the best of the best, forming smart and motivated individuals for the real world.
I loved the school district i went to the classes were very rigorous and the teachers where understanding and helpful the staff at my high school were vwry caring and 8 learned alot. They helped me get to where i am today and now i hope to go to collage and be successful in life .
The school has an immense options for career choices and has amazing programs to further develop your passions and aspirations from more than 20 clubs to a range of sports! The school also provides college credit and associates degree, along with certificates, ap classes, dual language arts.
Attended PSJA all 12 years and absolutely love everything about it. They provided me with endless amount of support. Without them I wouldn't be the person I am today.
I GRADUATED IN 1996, AND THEY WERE THE MOST WONDERFUL YEARS IN MY HIGH SCHOOL YEARS. I HAD TEACHERS THAT FORGED MY INTERESTS AND PASSIONS, AND I AM APPLYING THEM NOW AS AN ADULT.
This school district was great. I spent elementary through high school there. I participated in many extra curricular activities while I was there as well. My favorite was participating in the dance team. PSJA school district has the best dance drill team program.
The school district has incredible students and faculty members. The environment is suitable for any student who is going to be focused on their academics while playing sports.
My experience at PSJA has been one out of a million. It was such a great experience and I've met so many people that I hope have a good future ahead of them. The teaching st PSJA is exceptional, by the end of the day theyll be like your family. Overall I've made great friendships/memories at PSJA
As a student of the Pharr San Juan Alamo district for many years I can say with confidence that it is a good district.
My experience was rather short, I was there for about two years, but I still had a lot of fun. It was my first time being in that kind of school environment, sometimes I think what would've became of me of I was there since freshman year...
The encouraging environment provided to the students has all the resources needed for us to succeed.
