This district has amazing schools with lots of diversity, amazing teachers, and a prime learning environment. I always felt safe while going here and the newer additions to the district were really good about starting new traditions and creating its own culture. I got to be a part of many new beginnings and I loved my time here. The schools I attended were well funded through both education and extracurricular activities. We had every resource available for our success. The college and career center was very helpful for me, a first-generation student who would like to go to college. Through the sports at this school I have learned skills and gained a good pass time that keeps me healthy and active. There is rarely anything to complain about and I would recommend this school to anyone with children who want them to be in a good environment and be successful. Thank you.

I am a fairly new student at Weiss High School in the Pflugerville Independent School District. I moved from out of state during the summer before my senior year, and the thing that impressed me most about the school system was their dedication to college and career readiness. Weiss' college and career counselor Mr. Navarro-Jusino is very dedicated to helping students with their college applications and providing resources for students who are preparing to enter college like I am. I am also very impressed with the appearance of the school. Weiss High School is very large, updated, nice looking, and clean. One other thing that impressed me about the school is the knowledge and dedication of the teachers and administrators. You can tell that the teachers truly enjoy helping students, and the school administrators are truly dedicated to making sure that every senior in the first graduating class walks the stage at the end of the year.
Pflugerville Independent School District contains four different high school. They all have different school culture which helps to differentiate them from each other. Most students are very friendly with each other, even if they come from different schools. But the things with the school is that there is not enough for the students. The district is placed near a neighborhood that is still growing. There are more and more houses getting built. Even though Weiss High School just got built 3 years to accommodate this, there is still not enough space. It would be beneficial for the district to start thinking of building another one.
