Peyton High is overall a pretty good school. Most the teachers are Always available for help and want to see you succeed. But is very small which can either lead to a “family” community or a honestly isolating one and there is a lot of small town drama. That being said, there is also a lot of small town pride which is a pretty great thing to be a part of.
I personally have enjoyed my time and experiences at Peyton High School. The staff has taught me a lot about how to deal with life and they have gotten me ready to go off to college and start the next step in my life. I think they should just go more in detail in money budgeting and handling. Also for sports I think it would be nice to offer more sports or let other kids know about what sports are around them that they can go to and participate I
We specifically moved out of Colorado Springs to get to a small school district and it is the best thing that we have ever done for our children. The teachers have time to have a personal relationship with each child so I always know what is going on with my child. Our education system should not be based on state test scores, but instead of the relationships formed between staff, teachers and students. The students will succeed when they feel like they are a part of something bigger and that they are loved. That is what Peyton offers my boys. They push them to succeed from where my sons are with love and without comparing them to someone else.
