Peyton School District No. 23 Reviews
We specifically moved out of Colorado Springs to get to a small school district and it is the best thing that we have ever done for our children. The teachers have time to have a personal relationship with each child so I always know what is going on with my child. Our education system should not be based on state test scores, but instead of the relationships formed between staff, teachers and students. The students will succeed when they feel like they are a part of something bigger and that they are loved. That is what Peyton offers my boys. They push them to succeed from where my sons are with love and without comparing them to someone else.
Peyton is a generic school with small class sizes and a close knit community. The teachers care for the most part, and want to invest into us as learners and the future generation. Although, Peyton does lack diversity. It does not have much to offer for after school activities other than sports.
The staff really knows how to communicate their teaching towards educating the students. My only problem is that there are very limited class options, hardly any choices. Also, much of the curriculum is very behind it's times.
