Although a few teachers graded harder than others, and days where going to school seemed like the absolute worst thing in the world, Pewaukee High School is a place where I would love to go back and a district where I would be happy to have my kids attend. There was never a day where I walked into school scared or concerned for my safety, and I never felt threatened by any means. In this day and age, safety should be taken extremely seriously, and Pewaukee Schools did that very thing. The teachers are incredibly prepared to teach, and I created many bonds with them. So many teachers and staff at this school made me feel safe and understood. They are caring, and it's clear to see they want the best for their students.
When I was at PSD, it was a very good district. I was there from kindergarten to graduation in 2019 and I loved it all. It has amazing facilities, teachers, and academics. I learned a lot and learned to love learning through this district. Some of the downsides of this school is their technology/computer departments are lacking. They don't teach much and aren't very complete; thrown together. As someone who loves computers, this was annoying for me. Another downside is the diversity of the school, there is basically none. The surrounding city is an almost all-white population so the school reflects it. Other than those downsides though, the district is amazing and teaches well.
I honestly really love the school! It’s a great learning environment and we have a lot more resources to use than a typical school. As a close knit community, we know everyone and it’s a central place for students, alumni, and parents alike to spend time. We take pride in our sports and academics, having won many state awards and championships!
