Excellent School District! Great school culture, excellent athletics and community support, and passionate teachers.
I've been at this school since 5th grade. It's unlike any school I've ever heard of. We have the most caring and amazing principal in the world. He would do anything, and I mean anything for his students. I knew a student who couldn't afford to pay for their driver's training. He was the one who paid for it, out of his own pocket.
Our school has a program called Plank, it is a student run organization. If any student ever needs a person to talk to or anything they would be paired up with another student who is their "plank mentor". Each mentor has to sign a form of confidentiality. That student would talk to their mentor once a week (sometimes more) about things like school, home life, extracurriculars etc. Our principal will even give kids a check to a restaurant so there mentor can take them out to eat or something.
We also have what is called the plank pantry and closet. It is a confidential room for kids to go to if they need food, clothes, personal hygiene products etc.

As a senior, I enjoyed many years at my beloved high school with my friends and teachers. During my time at PW, I have been fortunate enough to receive an education and along the way create new relationships.
