Perquimans County Schools Reviews
I like how Perquimans County Schools gets you on track for college. A plethora of students here are taking college classes and by the time that they graduate from high school, they will graduate with an associates degree or higher. I will be one of these students and I am thankful for the pathway that Perquimans County Schools has set me on. Although the food is not that great, that is a small price that I am willing to pay for the ability to be college ready. I would like to see more parent involvement, it would be nice for parents to really see what students here at Perquimans County Schools are doing.
Perquimans County Schools has a lot of great teachers and leaders. The Middle School and High School have very good athletics, and tons of opportunities with clubs and groups. High school has a very nice gym and weight room. The county is a small community so everyone knows everybody, so you get to grow up and connect with your peers. You also get more one on one mentoring from teachers due to the good class sizes. High school offers tons of online high school and college courses. The central school and grammar school are both clean and safe. Overall a great school system.
Small, not very up there with the classes available to you if you're looking to branch out and go to a 4yr university. On the plus side, if you do well you're in a class of like 100 students so it's really easy to get to the top of your class. Also you'll know everyone in your school because no one ever moves in or out of the county.
