Rating 4 out of 5 8 reviews
I loved going to school here! I miss the atmosphere and the people. This school district definitely prepares students for success in life. I learned so much and the people are amazing. Also, the atmosphere is family and friend oriented since it is a small town. I would not change anything about this school.
I found attending Pennsvile Memorial High School to be the most fun, interesting, and unique learning experience. It taught me so much about myself, my future, and the life ahead of me. I learned how to make better decisions for myself, and how to handle certain situations I find myself in. Academic wise, I had some of the best teachers to this day there. One of the teachers specifically has inspired me to be more like him when I graduate, and go on to teach my own students one day. He went above and beyond for me and I cannot say enough about him. As far as changes I'd like to see, I would love to see more hands on work. For example, the childcare courses available to take are excellent! It gives you real life experience with young children, along with the academic side of it as well. I think if more courses like so were offered, it's give students an even better idea of what they want to so in the future.
Pennsville maintained a very positive environment. I never felt threatened by students or teachers and the school truly had a welcoming atmosphere. However, I would have benefited from having counselors that were more involved and seemed more interested in my endeavors.
