I have enjoyed being at Pennsauken High School, my teachers are great and I feel as though my writing, math, and music skills have really improved in the past two years. While Pennsauken has a reputation for fights, gangs, drama, and apathetic teachers, as long as you mind to yourself and take as many honors and AP courses as you can, these will be problems you wont even realize exist. Also, the Pennsauken Apache Marching Band was a great experience for me that improved my work ethic ten-fold. The sheer variety of clubs at Pennsauken High School can be quite overwhelming, some weeks I find myself staying after every day for a different club. So, while Pennsauken High School may have some glaring issues within its student body and administration, as long as you are a dedicated student who is ready to work you will be a successful student and enjoy your time at Pennsauken High School.

A few good teachers got me through my primary and secondary education, but the board of education has zero regard for the best interests of the students, and ignores any and all requests or complaints regardless of what they are about. Where the money goes from the budget is determined by the self-centered superintendent who does whatever he wants and takes no consideration of what the students actually need.
Being in the Pennsauken school system and attending Pennsauken High School was an overall good experience. I learned a lot of useful information, met a lot of good people and close friends, and had a lot memorable experiences. The diversity of the school gave it is charm and identity. However, the resources that were provided for the teachers was not good. Therefore, I didn't leave high school fully prepared for college.
