Pendleton County Public Schools Reviews
A very good school with nice teachers, but I do wish the art and music programs were more supported and recognized. I was unable to be college ready because art was not considered a career path and that was very disappointing. However, the teachers of both classes have always made the classes enjoyable and challenging to be in which I greatly appreciate. I had a very good experience with this school.
I love the teachers! They push their students to their full potential. Due to Pendleton being in such a rural area there isn't much diversity. Most students join at least one club, so there is an abundance of extracurricular activities going on. Although our sports teams don't have stellar records, we are centered around school spirit, and out small town supports our sport teams as well. the administration is really involved with the students, and truly try everything they can to make the students feel like they are important.
The school system was very good to me in my twelve years. For a small rural community, the academics were extraordinarily advanced and there were many opportunities to further your knowledge outside of the classroom. There were many chances for extracurricular involvement, and many ways for students to reach out into the community.
