Attending Paw Paw Public Schools has been an interesting experience. The middle school has a lot of staff and faculty who hold very negative attitudes towards its students. However, the high school is a much better environment in which almost all of the teachers I knew were passionate and good-spirited, providing a good education to their students. I will say however, there have been multiple principals/VP's who take advantage of their position and withhold overpowering and demeaning attitudes towards the students. Overall, I felt pretty safe and well taught at the school.
As a graduating senior this year, Paw Paw really has some potential to become an outstanding school district. In the last year alone they have implemented all sorts of activities to better help their students explore subjects of their choosing and not just the common core ones. They are also focused on engaging their students in class and always trying to inspire students to follow their dreams and aspirations instead of being a generic type of student. With that being said, Paw Paw definitely has some true potential in the years to come and there is no doubt in my mind that they wont cease that potential and create an amazing district that their students can and will thrive in.
Paw Paw is an average public high school. The teachers are normally pretty awesome, but the facilities and opportunities tend to be a little lacking.
