Paw Paw Community Unit School District No. 271 Reviews

My expereience with Paw Paw School K-12 was less than admirable. While I received as good as education as possible in this rural district from teachers who truly cared, the resources and funding needed to provide as many opportunities as possible was lacking. We did not have many common sports like football or track and field. However, even more disturbing, the school could not provide enough to staff classes for a full day of high school classes and electives, forcing students to either elect to go to vocational school or community college for the second half of the day.

I like the fact it is small classes, but that causes a lot of fighting between the students. Most days classes are pretty self explanatory. Teacher are very eager to help, but will not beg you to come get help.
