The school was dirty at times. I remember seeing a cockroach in the hallway while on the way to class. The principal, Mr. Wilcox was very nice! He allowed me to stay at the school my senior year even though I was zoned for another school. He said as long as my grades continued to be good, I was welcomed there and that meant so much to me. Other than that there’s not really school spirit because the football team wasn’t good but the students always showed up to the games.
I currently attend North Paulding high school. I love the staff! great school and great sports! Anyone is available to help if you take the time to ask for it. Students are super involved in sports activities, along with the staff! Great and clean areas. Super nice gym, track, baseball field, and football field. Great coaches! The one downside is that the school has only one entrances and exit. With that being mentioned their is also a great elementary & middle school right next to the School. Like I said they all only use the same entrance and exit, so it can tend to get busy.
The schools of Paulding County aren't horrible, but they aren't the overall best. It depends on which school in that county that you attend. Personally, I would like to see Paulding County offer better and healthier lunches, more lunch time, and clean the schools more thoroughly.
