A great school district with high education values! Super pleased with the district as a whole, only wish to see more cooperation with off-campus activities. I believe students learn more outside of the classroom with hands-on activities than in a lecture environment. Something to consider...

I've had a great experience with the Paulding County School district. I have a 12th grader and an 8th grader who both went to Shelton, Sammy McClure & North Paulding High. From Elementary up to High School the teachers have been great! My daughter is in dual enrollment and was very much prepared to do so because of the staff in the school system. I am very happy with her success.
I began attending Paulding County schools around the age of six and it was very rough moving to an environment that was the exact opposite of what I had bee used to. I had transferred from Cobb County, an area with a much larger population of African Americans. When I moved to Paulding County, there were only five African American families in my entire neighborhood and about 30 African American students that attended the school. But over the last ten years, the area has become much more popular and diverse and not just with race. The education offered here is incredible. I attend one of the 13 STEM- Certified schools in the state at Paulding County High School. The activities offered here have grown tremendously. Soccer is more popular than it has ever been and the clubs at our school range from theater and acapella to Dungeons 'n Dragons and bass fishing. And my community has many, many activities for service hours as well as having fun with your peers.
