Our schools prepare students for a brighter future. Teachers work one on one with students and make sure that they understand classwork
I like the small community. The teachers would do a lot for their students. The course load would be more than most at times but come college time, it really made it easy. I was an athlete and they made sure to still make it possible to make good grades and play sports. Good academics went hand in hand with all the athletes. Our coaches were also teachers. There was a good amount of trade programs that would allow us to earn certifications while in high school so that we could get a job upon graduation or even before then.
My experience at Patrick County High School was very good. The education, staff, and students were phenomenal. The student body worked together to achieve their goals and with the help of the staff, education was top notch. The sports teams worked really hard and were very good. Almost every home game would have a student section that went all out. Although there were many good things, I would like to see some change. I would like to see more student involvement and different ways of learning such as flipped classroom. My overall experience at Patrick Country High school was the best and I would not trade it for anything.
