Pasco high did NOT prepare my son for college. Some great teachers and counselors, but also some just there to get a pay check. Stop hiring relatives and give people with a good work ethic the opportunity to truly care about kids in the district!

The school district cares about the education and wellbeing of the students. It varies from school to school in Pasco School District. I took middle school and high school here in this district. The school i took for high school is located within the Pasco School District but represents 400 students from the Richland School District, Kennewick School District, and Pasco School District. Its a STEM focused school called Delta High School. The classes are small with only about 100 students representing grade levels 9 through 12. Lots of project based learning and the teachers care about you on a personal level.
I wouldn't want to be in any other school district. Every time I talk to teachers, school administrators, or the school bus drivers I get great reactions and often have great experiences. As for what i would like to see more of it would have to be a more involved security. The past year has been plagued with tragic school shootings in other states. I would not like to see Pasco School District subjected to that kind of tragedy. It is important that students feel safe when they go to school. As well, it is important for parents to see their children be safe. If Pasco School District could see an increase in security officers that would be solving a big problem. I'd like include the fact that their is not a whole lot of parent involvement. Most parents work, but those that don't still choose not to help out the School District. It would be great if their was a way to get the parents more involved and be able to see their children grow through their years of school.
