I have been a student in Pasco County since 1st grade, with the exception of one quarter in the 7th grade and it really is amazing! I have been so grateful to have had such an incredible experience throughout the years between consistent updates of school resources to the best teachers imaginable it has been great for the most part. The only problems I have with the school district, is the constant emphasis on sports over the arts. As an active member in each school I have attended within the district, I have experienced both athletics and the arts, but they are not treated the same at all. At my high school, we were a self-sustaining theater program with minimal funding for art and band. Not only that, but even within the athletics department some sports like football and cheer got way more attention than sports like tennis, which I was in. However, the teachers in this school district are seriously the best and have made me love school and even look forward to going everyday.

Pasco County school district is an administrative area to broaden your chances of becoming a successful student. Whether you are attending high or college, there are programs to put you where you need to be; and that’s what I love the most about it. Although the rate of successful graduates could be higher, this district takes huge steps closer to a student brightest future!
I enjoyed myself very much in the Pasco County School District from the well maintained schools along with a great scheduling and awesome Board of Director Pasco has some of the best schools in Florida. Being a student at Sunlake high school not only did I have excellent teachers every year to further my academic achievements but also had a great time being submerged in the extracurricular activities that the school had to offer. I played football for four years at Sunlake high school and enjoyed every second of it from an amazing coaching staff that taught me how to improve every day and amazing teammates that had my back every step of the way it was an amazing experience thanks to it being available through the Pasco County District. If I had to change anything I guess it would be the food, maybe make the options a little bit more diverse but other than that I love the Pasco County District.
