I've attended Pascagoula High School for 4 years and I am proud to say some of my BEST days were spent there. My 9th grade year the teachers were determined to set us up for the years to come. They told us 9th and 10th grade predicted the rest of our years in High school. All while having fun at pep rally's and class competitive events they also taught us the importance of balancing fun and education. In 11 and 12th grade my teachers took on the task of not only teaching the curriculum ,but also teaching us life lessons we wouldn't normally learn in a regular class. Most of the staff and faculty called it the ,"Stop ,soak in everything but smell the roses ."They told us to work hard but also take the time to sit back and take everything in for we won't be able to have the moments again. Now I'm a senior enrolled in early release and college because I took my 9th grade teachers advice and found my balance. Teachers ,students ,and faculty gave me the tools to have the brightest future!

Very diverse and inclusive. Big on academics college preparedness! Keeps parents involved in ALL ThAts going on in the school system. The administrators are always making strides to improve and keep u with new technologies. Competitive in all sports, while instilling the importance of good sportsmanship
I am from a small town in southern Mississippi. New Orleans, the nearest major city, is an hour away from where I live in Gautier. What I admire is that my school district ranks with the top districts anywhere when it comes to providing a solid educational foundation. My school district provides multiple opportunities to prepare students for college, military and for working in varied careers. It is constantly evolving to stay competitive and meet the demands and needs of current and future students. My school offers opportunities to reach every student's interest from the arts, athletics, foreign languages, JROTC, to academic clubs. Realizing that all students may not attend college or may not be prepared to enter the workplace, we have alternative programs to provide career guidance for post high school.
Although our school district does not have the same opportunities as big cities, I am proud to be apart of the Pascagoula-Gautier school district.
