Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District Reviews
This school district is good with the curriculum and other activities. However, some sports like tennis, golf are barely publicized. The teachers are friendly and approachable. The counseling department is also good. There are some problems with administration though. A lot of students engage in unacceptable behaviors on school property (vaping and drugs) and the school should take stronger actions against these students. As a part of Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Littleton Buddies, I was able to see the elementary schools (I did not attend elementary school in US). The classrooms are colorful, which is important, as it makes kids feel friendly. But kids do not start learning complex skills until second grade. I believe the learning process should start little by little from kindergarten so kids are prepared well for the future. They should not just have arts and crafts but also some studying so that they get used to it as they grow up.
Enjoyable and fun, hard working classes and a vast amount of career choices. Lots of clubs and out of school events. However does not have all the science and technology classes that other school have. The food is good and teachers are nice. The new block schedule allows for more time to do homework and study for upcoming tests as well as allow students to take 8 classes and a lunch
I like the friendships I have made over the years, some since 2nd grade and others since Freshman year of High School. I have enjoyed playing sports and being a member of the Viking community!
