I loved my experience at Parkway South. The teachers are amazing and do everything they can to make sure their students succeed. However, my school is extremely outdated and poorly built for the amount of students it holds. The parking lots are poorly organized, the bathrooms are too small, and the hallways are constantly ridiculously crowded. Even worse, we have the world's smallest theatre, so it makes it hard for the performing arts to put on shows to their fullest potential. The bones of the school need a little work, sure, but I promise, the heart is all there!

I graduated from Parkway Central High School two years ago and I was apart of the district for 10 years. From elementary school up until high school, I can say that I have encountered many great and unforgettable teachers, administration, and wonderful friends that have had a great impact on my life. I am forever grateful that I got the opportunity to attend several schools in the district and go Colts!
Parkway school district has pushed me academically to prepare myself thoroughly for college. Most of my teachers have cared deeply for my academic success and have helped me through challenges I have faced to become the person I am today. In addition, Parkway has introduced me to countless programs and activities that have helped me expand my learning beyond the classroom and allowed me to develop a greater character for myself. However, Parkway has not always been quick to act on students' needs and values, and there are sometimes significant gaps between staff and students. I think Parkway would be a better school district if students', parents' and teachers' opinions were taken into greater account to help make many more satisfied with the system.
