Park Hill is amazing! My children, whom both have very different learning styles, talents and skill sets; have both cancelled upon entering the District 2 years ago. They are currently building a new High School which will allow students to be among the first to participate in a new, innovative concept focusing on project-based curriculum! So excited for my kids to be a part of this! Across the board I am steadily impressed and proud to be involved in our Community and Schools. They have tons of clubs and intramurals, healthy food choices, sports and extracurriculars; equally the offer access to toms of resources, including their own clothing center and Community Education programs!

People wonder where they can find a great school district, shopping close by, and beautiful housing. Well the Park Hill School District offers all of those things. The teachers truly do care about the students and try their best to help as much as they can. Such as staying after school everyday for tutoring, providing transportation for their after school tutoring program, classes that cater to the students own pace and more! After a long day of school the middle school and high school students have direct access to food and shopping right across the street at a shopping area called Zona Rosa. Also there are surrounding neighborhoods that allow the students to even walk home. Overall the Park Hill School District would be the one to choose for all the right reason like great education, shopping, and beautiful housing.
This district is completely digital from 5th grade on. Their filters and blocking programs do not work on alternate WiFi sources. The school refuses to allow parents to put parental blocks on these computers, and have made no steps to improve the security. Lakeview Middle school is ridiculous in their rules and what they consider to be unacceptable, and therefore punishable, behavior. Something that we would have done in school even 10 years ago is now considered assault (such as a thumb tack high five, or a hand shake with a shocker on your finger), and results in an immediate police report, months of probation appointments, and a permanent mark on your child's school record for assault. Academic wise, it's pretty good. The high school has many options for advanced placement courses, the students can earn college credit, and can take a variety of classes including basic home repair classes.
