I came into the Park hill School District in 5th grade and loved it ever since. The administration really cares about the student's well being and education. I would have no regrets in saying its the best district in all of the greater Kansas City area. From grade k-12 Park Hill strives in caring about each and every student until they graduate. Every year Park Hill students dominate in standardized test scores compared to other districts around the city. They build a solid foundation of success and college readiness even in the lower grades. What I really love about Park Hill is the diversity. We have many students of all colors, backgrounds, and cultures. With all of these things in mind, Park Hill is not perfect. They could use more training and education on mental health. As a student I only remember having mental health discussions once or twice. Not to mention the rise of bullying in many of its schools. I'm hopeful that Park hill will work to fix these problems.

The experience at Parkhill Highschool does their best to ensure that personal life (life at home) is going well. They have programs about depression and drug prevention. They encourage students to participate in after school activities and find what you like throughout the school. One criticism I would have about the school would be the early start times. Many students at Park Hill Highschool have struggled with sleep, due to getting up early for school. Typically, many students have to go outside at around 6:50 for their bus stops in the dark, to go to school. Having this problem resolved would help with students' mental health and their ability to learn.
Park Hill School District is one of the best in Missouri and definitely the best in the Northland. It was a great place to go to school and the sense of community is amazing. The teachers and staff are top notch and make the students high school experience amazing and provide the best education for the students. There is an extracurricular activity for everyone to get involved and really makes every student feel like they matter. Park Hill is the best!
