Overall Paradise Independent School District is a good school. They have good academics, offer duel credit courses and do a very good job preparing you for college. They have great curriculum and teachers that are very eager to help students succeed. It is relatively small which I enjoyed because it gives the school a sense of community and parents are often very involved, participating in fundraisers, running concession stands at sporting events, and usually keeping in close touch with principals and counselors regarding their child's academic performance. This is a safe school, there is an officer posted at the school on a daily basis. Some of the negatives are the school facilities are getting old and need some updating. The cafeteria does not have a very expansive food selection and the school has a small number of clubs and should probably work on expanding the activities they offer to their current students.
Paradise is an awesome school! It is a small town full of amazing and sweet people. The teachers are so helpful and are available 95% of the time. Since it’s a smaller school, it’s much easier to get one-on-one help. The principals are great and get to know their students at a personal level.
PISD is a very good school. The teachers are amazing and genuinely care about you and helping you to your full potential. I love how small the school is because you get to know who your in class with and who your teachers are and everyone knows you. This school has very many ups and not a lot of downs. From athletics to FFA paradise gives its all in all extracurricular activities. There is not much I would change about this school.
