Ozark R-VI School District Reviews
This school has a variety of programs and activities that enable students to excel in every aspect of their life. There are very good education programs such as the IB program and AP. There are also a variety of boys and girls sports which allow for collaboration and leadership skills to be refined. However, if a student is unmotivated to apply themselves in these fields the school does very little to support them and push them to do the best they can. The teachers can be amazing and Ozark does have a track record of amazing teachers who develop healthy relationships with students.
Overall, I enjoyed going to the Ozark R-VI School District. I have had my fair share of unhelpful teachers, but you will find that anywhere. I have also had so many wonderful teachers (big shoutout to my choir teachers). Ozark is open to change, and when they a see a need to change something, they will. However, some changes happened too often, such as the many forms we saw O-Time, Advisory, and finally Tiger Time. The school district is continuing to grow, and will need to work on conforming to the growth. I would also like to say I wish there was more funding for the wonderful arts programs such as choir and band, instead of it all going to sports.
The Ozark R-VI school district has given me numerous chances for my future, especially their alternative schools and excellent administrators. Of which have had a lot of involvment in schools with students and teachers. Overall I'm blessed with a great school and received invaluable experiences, both academic and personally.
