In my experience, OUHSD really cares about its students. The AP and IB classes are difficult, but manageable and worth it. Honors classes vary- some are more challenging, while others are indistinguishable from CP classes.
My classmates are pretty nice and, even though there is a certain level of teenage judgement and drama, overall I feel safe and comfortable being myself on campus.
There is a wide variety of clubs at my particular school, so there are a lot of opportunities to explore different interests!

Oxnard Union High School district is overall very good. They have teachers that genuinely care about their students and their success outside of high school. The staff encourage students to go to college and how important it is to earn a degree. The campuses are also pretty well done, they are all in the process of getting re beautified and they are looking great! Sports are an exciting event in the district, all the towns get involved and rival games are the best. Safety at all the schools is good they campus security everywhere watching students 24/7 and all exits are guarded. The Oxnard Union High School District are here for the students and their success, to make sure they have an awesome high school experience.
There are many positives that the Oxnard Union High School District has; listing them would take more space than what is given. But overall, what I like most about the Oxnard Union High School District is the level of diversity it has. The district is able to cater to many demographics and backgrounds with care, such as those who identify with the LGBTQ+ community. Both the student and teacher population is generally accepting towards everyone, regardless of their status or beliefs.
A few aspects that could be improved, however, is the food quality. While the school does try to promote a healthy lifestyle and a reduced consumption of unhealthy food, the food served to students is of questionable quality, which contrast what the district wants to convey. Many of the meals, including the fruit, are not entirely fresh; most of the times they can be stale and unappetizing, which leads to people throwing the food away and wasting it.
