I attended Owasso schools from 6th grade to graduation, and thoroughly annoyed the school. The staff and teachers truly care about the students, not just their grades and attendance, but also their wellbeing, their home life, and their future. Most of the teachers I had wanted to make a difference in our lives, teach us how to succeed not just in the class, but how to become well rounded, mature adults who can contribute to society. The only downside was that arts and music sometimes got pushed to the back burner. As a 6A championship school in most sports, they heavily focused their efforts and money on the sports programs. The arts got a fair amount of funding most of the time, but when it came to replacing art supplies, purchasing new equipment for theater classes, or buying new computers for the yearbook department, they were a little more hesitant. Other than that, Owasso is a great school! Very good academically, lots of choices and diversity in clubs and sports.

Very knowledgeable teachers that I have nothing but respect for. Every teacher displays enthusiasm in the learning environment. However, they also make an effort to speak to you on a very personal level. My classmates are also very respectful and fun to be around. I am a senior in high school, and just recently met so many different people that I had not once had a class with. I will be honest, being in a 6A school, there is not a lot of chances to meet everyone in your class in depth. However, even this year I have met people that are some of the kindest people I have ever met. When looking at the band, the band is more than spectacular and dedicated. The football team was first in the state. The Mock Trial team goes to international competitions and places in all of them. Owasso sends students to the Ivy League and other prestigious colleges. The Love the Rams and everything they accomplish.
I have always loved my teachers, and when I reach out to administration they always get back to me as soon as possible! I love Owasso High School so much and I’m so upset my last year there got cut short.
