Oscoda Area Schools Reviews

I have gone to Oscoda area school my whole life there is lots to be involved with here. There is many things like outdoor science where we raised salmon in the class room and learn how it connects to our community. There others programs like interact, which is a community service group that tries to help better our world and community. There is always a chance to be involved with either program and help out of small town of Oscoda.

I loved the physical aspects of OHS, like the gym, pool, sports facilities, auditorium, and bathrooms. However, I don't feel at all prepared for college or life in general. My teachers, while kind and helpful, lacked the education to help me, and the administration is full of hypocrites, snobs, and frankly, bullies. At any given time, a custodian, lunch lady, or coach could have come in to teach a class and I probably wouldn't have noticed. As for my peers, cliques aren't terrible, but the school is engulfed in an overall "mean" culture.
I graduated in 2018 after transfering here earlier in the year. They have lots of college help. Good teachers. Lots of resources.
