I've been enrolled at North High School and by the time I was in college I was not ready. We were always low on teachers which resulted in year-round teacher assistants to just watch the class until the bell sound. For the teachers who were there to teach, only taught what they thought was best and never met state standard. Testing scores reflected on poor education. Opportunities to attend college classes at the nearby college (OCtech) wasn't encouraged by the staff. The guidance counselor that was there throughout middle and high school never pushed students to participate in summer programs unless the student ask if there were any. No school organizations other than sports were created for students who weren't into sports. I hope to see a change in the teacher shortage and most importantly the education standard for each grade level.

Great schools! You learn everything you need to know, and everyone feels like family. There is a lot of extra curricular activities to get involved in and no one is left out. Their goal is for everyone to achieve and my class had 100% graduation rate.
I liked the teachers at the school. I started off high school wrong and that ultimately messed up my experience. i almost got expelled from high school my first year there. My gpa was greatly hurt and it was hard rebuilding it up. I would want the disciplinary part of the school to be changed. I was nearly expelled for being somewhere at the wrong time and it cost me my gpa and my high school credit. I was sent to the alternative school where i shouldnt have belong. it was full of kids who didnt want go to school nor go to college. i learned from that and promised never to go there again. Fast forward to my senior year, that was snatched from me aswell, couldnt do things like a prom or senior week. but i didnt let that stop me, now im attending francis marion university majoring in Computer Science. i want to be a successful in life so i can make sure my family will never struggle again
