I hope to change in the guidance department. Counselors do not help Seniors get through the application process, scholarships, and this can make a difference if Seniors seeking to go to college or trade school.
Academically speaking, Orange County Public schools offers great programs and classes. The teachers are wonderful and supportive, and they always offer flexibility to minimize the stress that school may put on us. It's overall a great environment for students. However, it'd be great if they had a larger of variety of classes to take, for example, there are very few elective and advanced class options for the middle schools. There could also be a bit more language courses at OCHS.
Orange County Public Schools are one of the best and well-prepared schools. Due to the outbreak of COVID- 19 my school had to change to online distance learning. The administration has always been the best, but with this outbreak that came out of nowhere the administration has proven how well and prepared they are for any situation that comes there way. I love the diversity my school has with races, clubs, and sports, makes all different types of people to feel included.
