What I like about Onslow County Schools is how close the students are with each other. No matter what school you go to or what race you are the students of Onslow County are like a close knit family. The teachers there are wonderful, even though you might not be the best at the subject you are getting taught the teachers are willing to take it slow with you and ultimately make sure you understand whats going on. The amount of resources us students have throughout Onslow County is abundant! The staff in Onslow County try their hardest to make it easier to learn. I think Onslow County also prepares students the best for college and the real world. So overall as a student who is a senior and getting ready to go to college, I am extremely grateful for being able to reside in Onslow County and receive my learning from here.

I have been going to Northside Highschool for 3 years now, and I am a early graduate. I feel like I have had a good experience throughout the years, but we have just recently got a new principle at the beginning of the school year. I feel like that has been affecting the way the school is ran. I can say that with this new Administration high school is not as fun as it used to be. If I were to change something it would be the communication between the students and that administration, I feel like they need to here feedback from us to understand what is and what is not working on campus.
Onslow County schools are great! I just wish that the nepotism in our schools would be diminished, because of all that, many students don't get to shine because your not rich or the teachers favorite. Often times a school can be greta but some teachers just lack the effort needed and the drive to give ALL students a great education.
