Oneida County School District Reviews

2 reviews
There are teachers, administrators and staff that really give their whole heart to this school district. However, there are also teachers that should not be teaching and greatly damage the education of many children. The Elementary School is almost 65 years old and the community won't pass a bond to build a new one. There are administrators that are not qualified or capable to improve the education going on in their school building. The parents do not make their children's education a top priority in their lives. Many students are below grade level because there is no support or help from home. There are some master teachers who really make a difference that we are very grateful for. But overall the education and experience that a student receives from Oneida County is very below average. The students are not college ready and they are behind in many ways from other students that attend other school districts.

I like the school a lot. However, there are problems with kids ditching class all the time. Some of the teachers are good but we are really lacking in the math department. Theres a class where all the seniors left the class and took it online because the teacher is so bad.
